Recovery steps

How to reset your login

Whether it's your password or username, the safe recovery flow is the same. Always start at sffirecu.org or the app.

  1. 1

    Open the login page

Type sffirecu.org and click Sign In, or open the app, then choose Forgot Username or Forgot Password under the login fields.

  2. 2

    Tell us who you are

Enter the username or the email/phone on file so we can locate your account and start identity verification.

  3. 3

    Verify your identity

Approve the one-time security code sent by text, voice, or email — no phone call to the branch required.

  4. 4

    Create a new password

Set a brand-new, unique password. This also unlocks an account that was locked from too many failed login attempts.

  5. 5

    Sign in again

Return to the login page and sign in with your recovered username and new password on web or in the app.

Is your account locked?

Too many incorrect login attempts will temporarily lock your account to protect you. Resetting your password unlocks it right away. If you still can't get in, our team can help.
